“I believe that meaningful change happens when you are truly witnessed, known, and able to reconnect with the vitality of your life.”
About Me
-
As a therapist, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a very human presence into the room. I want this to feel like a space where you can finally exhale - where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself, or defend who you are. Your story is met here with respect, softness, and deep, unhurried listening.
I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, rediscover what truly matters to you, and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been quieted under the weight of pain, shame, or others’ expectations. To do this is an honour - it is truly a privilege to accompany someone on their journey.
My practice is rooted in existential and feminist phenomenological traditions and informed by somatic approaches. In therapy, we turn toward what is alive in your body, emotions, and relationships. We listen carefully to what your experience is inviting, finding the courage to stay with it, and allowing new awareness, vitality, meaning, and self-compassion to emerge - without hurrying to “fix” anything. I also tailor therapy to your unique story, culture, and worldview, and often bring in myth, symbol, and storytelling, because I believe the stories we carry - those we inherit and those we create - shape how we move through the world.

I’m an Enneagram Type 2, a mom to two truly magical and silly humans (ages 3 and 5), an avid reader, and absolutely love to dance.
I came to this work not just through training, but through lived experience. I have sat in the client chair as both a child and an adult. I am a real human who has known pain, suffering, and trauma. I understand firsthand the courage it takes to reach for support. I also know the transformative power of having someone sit with you in your pain - someone who reflects back your goodness, helps you clarify your values, and supports you in living with authenticity and agency. It was in those moments, when my own counsellor sat with me in the hardest parts of my story, that I rediscovered the vitality in my own life.
Motherhood has been one of the most profound and reshaping journeys of my life. My pregnancies were marked by severe hyperemesis gravidarum, and I experienced a traumatic birth that left me feeling untethered from myself. In the early seasons of parenting, I struggled with the quiet grief of feeling like I had “lost” who I was. Counselling became a lifeline - a place where I could slowly reconnect to my vitality, remember my wholeness, and reclaim parts of myself that felt buried beneath survival. That journey deeply informs the way I hold space for others, particularly parents navigating identity shifts, trauma, and the invisible weight they carry.
I am neurodivergent and understand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to navigate systems that weren’t built with you in mind. I am especially mindful of how barriers, both internal and systemic, can make seeking support feel lonely or inaccessible. This is why it is so important to me to tailor my approach to meet your needs and honour the way you move through the world.
For over a decade, I have worked in the harm reduction and addiction sector. That work shaped me in profound ways. It taught me to see people through a lens of compassion, dignity, and possibility. I genuinely believe that people are doing the best they can with the resources available to them. When we feel stuck, it is not because we are broken - it is often because we have been surviving.
I absolutely love this work. It is a true privilege to walk alongside people as they rediscover their strength, clarify what matters most, and move toward lives that feel more aligned, empowered, and alive.
